Welcome to Musings of a Catholic

This site has been developed to provide the average Catholic with information to help them grow spiritually. The world around us offers plenty to keep us from growing in our faith. In fact, it constantly showers us with information designed to lead us away from Christ. For us to keep from becoming part of the world rather than pilgrims passing through it we need to be constantly working to strengthen our faith and the faith of those around us. I hope and pray that this site might in some small way help those visiting it to grow spiritually.

To do this I am providing formal catechesis on prayer, the Mass, and the Liturgical year. Additionally I will be blogging on Living a Christian Life. At the present time the course on prayer is complete. The first four lessons on the Mass are completed
